RN Case Manager
Experienced workers' compensation case manager with experience in Telephonic or Field Case management (this is a TCM role). Proven ability to assess challenging cases and work with treating providers, claims professionals and our internal physician services group in developing plans of actions for case closure. Experience with the UR process as well as Pharmacy Management a plus.
Shared Services Manager
Experienced individual to run in-house administrative solutions (facilities, mail, administrative work-flow manager). Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) background a plus.
Senior Bill Review Analyst
Under minimal supervision, responsible for reviewing surgical, professional and hospital bills to ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity of customer accounts through adherence to all established business rules, state mandated fee schedules, and usual and customary guidelines.
Utilization Review Service Coordinator
This position requires an individual experienced in Utilization Review who, under minimal supervision, can independently analyze referred Utilization Review referrals, triage them for completeness of information for review by a medical professional and route them to specific medical professionals by specialty where appropriate.
Paladin is seeking unrestricted state licensed and Board Certified Physicians to conduct various services provided as part of our Workers’ Compensation Managed Care Services product line. Duties and Responsibilities would include:
Review of medical documentation submitted by treating physicians regarding industrial related injuries in order to provide recommendations for utilization review, claims analysis, complex bill review, or other case management services.
Identifies and utilizes nationally accepted, evidenced based guidelines, and other peer reviewed resources to determine medical necessity of treatment and/or pharmaceutical management plans, in order to determine appropriateness of care being conducted in the rehabilitation of the injured worker.
Telephonically contacting treating physicians and other health care professionals to discuss ongoing and future medical needs of the injured worker, when appropriate, in order to facilitate the evaluation of the requested treatments or procedures.
Maintains medical license in good standing; upholds policies and procedures of Paladin Managed Care Services; performs duties in accordance with the standards of URAC and State Regulations.
Onsite office space availability which provides both telephone and computer access for required duties; offsite work will require physician to have own access to phone and computer. Physician must demonstrate strong computer and time management skills in order to meet mandated “turn around times” for all managed care services.
